Cheerios Play Book
A favorite little book I received while working at Arnold Advertising is The Cheerios Play Book. My friends there had a baby 'book' party giving me books to start a library for the baby instead of the usual swag given at baby showers. It showed to be a fantastic (!!) thing for us. Both children adore reading part due to our big collection. Lucas gets excited every night to choose his bedtime story and Jane is reading on a 1st grade level, and she's still in Pre-K... :)

Shameless self admiration...
I just adore the layout (And the photographs) of my random photoblog; http://nanvan.tumblr.com/ It makes me happy and proud of myself. www.nanvan.tumblr.com

Did you know...
Did you know I take a photo a day of my babies? Yep. That's 4.5 years for Jane and 1.5 years for Luke. That's a lot of clicking. I use all sorts of cameras too, from the Holga to my Nikon. It's a wonderful archive of looking back on their lives.

Recents...
I realized I am not the best at consistencies - especially with updating this site. I apologize... We've had lots of snow, lots and lots and lots of snow; but it's fun. (At least that's what we pretend anyway...)
Here are quite a few recent pics to update you:

Ride 'em Cowboy!
Lucas turned ONE last week. Yes. ONE! We are in awe of his sweet character and his silly ways. He has started to "walk" with assistance of a chair being slid across the room, or his little vintage walker we bought for Jane and kept. We are so blessed to have 2 amazing kids, every day I think of this.
For his birthday we went ahead with a Cowboy theme. Not totally gangbusters, like everything being bandanna pattern and country music galore. Not at all. It was an easy going theme, perfect for our wee little one....
